Builtdesign uses a secure escrow payment system. For freelance jobs, clients deposit payment into escrow when the project begins, and the funds are released to you once the client approves your work. For design competitions, you get paid if your proposal is selected in the top 3 winning designs.
Builtdesign charges a 30% commission on each successful transaction as a platform fee. This fee is deducted from your earnings once you’ve been paid, ensuring that you only pay when you earn from the platform.
Yes, architects are required to have their COA (Council of Architecture) license verified to participate in Design Proposals Pro competitions and collaborate on architectural projects.
